Hop Farm & Beer Tasting Tour

The Hop Harvest is our main attraction and tours have been going on for the past 4-5 years, for the brewing industry. In the last two years we have opened up to the general public with organised tours of the farm during the summer and autumn months.

We have hosted many industry hop walk events, for different organisations including The Brewers Engineering Association, The Swedish Beer Retailing Group and various Hop Merchants and Brewers. During the harvest of 2011, 2013, 2015 & again in 2017, we hosted the Charles Faram Hop Walk for between 350 – 400 brewers. Our guests enjoy watching the harvest in progress, also walking through the noise and spectacle of the hop picking machine and drying kilns. The main aim is to promote the use of British Hops in beer.

We welcome visits at all times of year but particularly during September to watch the harvest. So whether you are local, further away or even abroad, please do get in touch if you would like to visit the farm. Our youngest visitor is under 3 years and our oldest so far has been 89 years old.

Farm walks last about two hours with an option to taste local beer afterwards.
