The apples are grown between our hop yards here at Stocks Farm. It has been available for the wholesale market for the last five years, and we are now bringing it to the homebrew market.

Although predominantly used by the cider industry, our concentrate has great ingredient potential because of the unique qualities that the concentrate is able to offer.
Our concentrate is characterised as having high tannin and low acid with a consistency similar to pomegranate molasses, which gives an even coating quality when poured. It has intensity of flavour but because of the bittersweet nature, which comes from the fruit, the intensity has a rounded complexity. This comes through with an overall mouth-feel typified with “umami” qualities. It will also provide a natural golden caramel colouring.
